Why is this a separate app?
First off let me say this does what is should.
However, there should be no need for this. I had an older Pioneer headunit that supported Mixtrax from the iPhone out of the box. Now that Ive dropped over a grand on the AVIC-8000NEX I need to spend an additional $4 for this functionality from my phone? I just hope this is fixed with the upcoming CarPlay firmware update.
Again, the app is nice and adds a few new features to the Mixtrax experience but I still see no reason why this wasnt implemented into the 2014 FLAGSHIP headunit.
